Barnrumsinredning med insekter – ny kollektion med unika illustrationer

Children's room decor with insects - new collection with unique illustrations

The luxury of building something entirely on my own is that I have the freedom to create things I actually enjoy – for real. This time it's about my fascination with insects.

I'm still a little unsure why I'm so drawn to them. Maybe it's the contrast to city life – where people move in structures, noise and pace – while insects live their own lives, in their own small dimension. Sometimes silent, sometimes with a discreet buzz that becomes strangely noticeable once you pay attention to it.

Most insects are beautiful. I guess it's the little details that captivate me. Some look almost angry and monstrous, while others seem created solely to brighten up life – to enhance the colors of spring and summer, to remind us of play and movement.

I have held many insects in my hand over the years and have been amazed at how something so small and fragile can evoke such strong emotions. For me, it is a playful and unexpected source of inspiration.

My new collection is now ready for publication, and it is a tribute to just that: the world of insects . I have chosen to call the collection The Little Landscape – a visual journey through something we often overlook, but which upon closer inspection turns out to be both perfect and enigmatic.

In the collection you will encounter the geometric patterns of beetles, the colorful splendor of butterflies and the quiet elegance of dragonflies. The illustrations are detailed but toned down in color – inspired by nature's own logic: nothing is superfluous, everything has a function. Yet there is an obvious beauty. And perhaps a little retro vibe too, as it should be.

For those of you who appreciate children's room decor with that little extra – something that both arouses curiosity and creates peace – I think The Little Landscape will feel just right.
